Pan Fried Lemon Drizzle Cake with Creme Fraîche and Warm Lemon Curd
Now a lemon drizzle happens to be one of my favourite cakes, it’s also one the of the easiest to make. Soft, fluffy but with a zing of citrus that isn’t too sweet. I made some the other week and it was a really cold day, so I wanted a warm dessert.. and this creation was born. When frying the icing caramelises, going sticky and crunchy. The cake goes a beautiful speckled golden brown. The cool crème fraîche and the warm lemon curd really round it off. Very much worth trying!
